Angry White Men

My Dad sent this article to me today. It echoes some of the points Rush was making today about how white men decide U.S. elections. This article's description of white men sounds a bit like wishful thinking in some places (in that these men sound very conservative), but it's pretty close to the mark. It ends by hoping, pleading, that Hillary gets the nomination so we can take her down in the general election. Unfortunately for this premise, Obama is coming on strong with all his "hoping for change" and "believing in hope" garbage. Rush still thinks Clinton will be the nominee even if Obama "wins."

On the McCain front, I heard it noted that McCain is one of only about four senators to refuse all earmarks. Hillary and Obama have obtained many millions in wasteful earmarks. Good for McCain.
