Senate Cafeteria Exposed

You might have heard about the Senate Cafeteria's annual losses in the millions, but for all the subsidizing at taxpayer expense, isn't it at least a fine dining experience? Not quite. Mark Hemingway ventured into to this abomination of culinary horrors and produced this amusing story. At least it would be amusing if we weren't spending millions of dollars to make it happen.

Note: He also points out at the end that the real reason the Senate Democrats are up in arms is probably due to the higher-quality House Cafeteria (which has been privatized for some time). It turns out that capitalism just tastes better.
