The Rush Plan

Rush says all we need to do is cut capital gains and corporate taxes. The end.

Rush and Huck agree, at least partly. Huckabee has also suggested a complete elimination of capital gains, as well as an immediate repeal of Sarbanes/Oxley. Of course, I'm sure that you're on his (e)mailing list (my tongue is placed firmly in cheek), but in case your readers are not they can read Gov. Huckabee's colorful comments here.

I agree that capital gains taxes and dividends taxes should be eliminated and that the corporate tax rate could probably stand to be reduced. However, tax cuts would not address the fundamental crisis of credit.
