Pat Robertson's Misunderstanding of Christianity

The tragedy in Haiti should draw out our compassion, not sanctimonious criticism based on a fundamental misunderstanding of the nature of Christianity. Peter Wehner gets it right in discussing Pat Robinson's latest round of insensitive foolishness.

Well said. It is unfortunate when any world view suffers more from the words of its friends than those of its enemies. Pet Robertson does all Christians a disservice.

And let us also not forget Rush and his compassionate words.

Rush's comments cannot begin to be compared with Robertson's. You've been reading too much Kathleen Parker again. :)

His comments are comparable, although I do enjoy picking at your Lemming-like allegiance to the man (perhaps my true motivation for that post) ;)

Understood. You have no idea how much we were freaking out over the whole Hawaii emergency incident!
